This is the story that fairytales are made of... Both Lee + Tim were on opposite sides of the world when they first met on Facebook back in November 2015. Lee happened to comment on one of those Adele-esque tribute videos online (which she never comments randomly on a video), and Tim just happened to see her comment and the attraction was instantaneous. Before long, they were fascinated with each others stories and couldn't go without 10 minutes without wanting to chat with each other -- however, with Lee being in Australia and Tim in America, things weren't as simple as could be. In April, Lee made the trip to the states and they spent 9 days together... the most perfect 9 days they could have imagined. 9 weeks later... Tim moved to Australia and the rest, was history. What a start, hey?! It is my absolute pleasure to present their story to you - their wedding day - held in the Mornington Peninsula. In the months leading up to their wedding planning, you couldn't wipe a smile off both Lee + Tim's faces - they were so excited for this day to arrive, and the celebration with their family and friends, coming from all sides of the globe to witness the next chapter in their love story. The morning commenced with Lee and the boys enjoying a game of golf at Mornington Golf Course. Throughout the day, the weather, unfortunately, wasn't on their side, but this certainly didn't dampen any mood or excitement of the events that were to follow. Lee + the girls were getting ready on site at her parents property, which was also the setting of the reception -- what a property! The ladies from The Glamour Mafia were providing hair and makeup to Lee + her bridesmaids, and not too long afterwards - it was time for Lee to get dressed in her stunning Karen Willis Holmes gown, with complimenting florals provided by a friend. Arriving at Dalywaters for the ceremony, Tim and the boys looked ultra-dapper in their Ferrari Frankston suits, greeting all friends and family who braved the rain and arrived with excitement for the moment all have been waiting for... Lee's grand arrival. Well, this has to be one of my most favourite moments I have EVER captured. The first moments when Lee and Tim lock eyes on each other. Tim wears his heart on his sleeve, and throughout the entire ceremony, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd as Lee + Tim exchanged their heartfelt vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by the legendary celebrant Greg Evans. Working alongside David from Whitepoint Photography was fun - as we battled through the Mornington traffic and captured some of the more relaxed moments of the newly married couple along the pier in Mornington. Yes, everyone was sheltered with umbrellas at times - but you couldn't wipe the smiles and laughter off everyone's faces throughout. As the night kicked into full swing, Lee + Tim soon returned to their marque reception warmly greeted by all who had been enjoying their time mingling and celebrating the newfound Mr & Mrs. Mercury DJ Hire were on hand to ensure the night was in full party mode with dancing and great tunes. Lee + Tim wrapped up the night by dancing under the stars for their first dance, surrounded by their family and friends with sparklers -- a perfect moment which I'm sure will be forever etched into their minds.
